DESTINATION GALICIA

Galicia, an autonomous community in northwestern Spain, is a lush, green region with an Atlantic coastline. The cathedral in the regional capital Santiago de Compostela is the supposed burial place of the apostle Saint James the Greater, and the destination for those making the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The western cliffs of Cape Finisterre were considered by the Romans to be the end of the known world.

During your stay in Galicia you can take advantage of one of the variants of the Camino de Santiago. Next to the Hotel Pazo Rial**** we have the variant of the Camino Espiritual, an itinerary that takes pilgrims through beautiful coastal landscapes, villages and ancient monasteries from Baiona to Padrón. This fascinating route is also known as the Ruta Translatio, and follows the path of the apostle's body to Santiago de Compostela.
